Next Concert:
FRENCH KISS ON SUNDAY 7th DECEMBER 2008
An intriguing program featuring the internationally-acclaimed Scottish pianist and scholar Roy Howat in a performance of Poulenc's playful "Concert Champetre". The main work is Stravinsky's delightful ballet "The Fairy's Kiss", based on melodies of Tchaikovsky but transformed by Stravinsky's genius. Berlioz's evocative "Royal Hunt and Storm" from his grand opera Les Troyens complete the French connection.
This concert will be played at 2.30pm at the Scots College Auditorium, Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill. Tickets are $20 adults/$12 concession available at the door.
