TRUE APOTHECARY is a seductive and daring program which opens with Beethoven's Second Symphony, a bold and innovative work that challenged it's first audiences as it broke the moulds of convention as had never been done before.

The WPO is excited to feature the internationally acclaimed, Australian Saxophonist Christina Leonard as she performs Debussy's hypnotic Rhapsody, and to finish the concert, Tchaikovsky's telling of the tale of the worlds most talked about lovers in his Romeo and Juliet which will leave you breathless and yearning for more long after Romeo's infamous final words: "O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die."

This program is lead by the WPO's Chief Conductor & Artistic Director, Lee Bracegirdle and is a not to be missed event.
